2021 Dodge Charger Melbourne FL

2021 Dodge Charger at Gator DCJR

The 2021 four-door sedan Dodge Charger is still tops in many aspects: horsepower, performance packages, interior roominess, and unique heritage design.  The world's only four-door muscle car offers powerful V-8 engines, a plethora of options for personalization, and a user-friendly infotainment system.  The fastest and most powerful mass-produced sedan in the world, the new "Demon-possessed" Charger SRT Hellcat Redeye pushes the envelope of performance levels beyond what's been done before in a four-door family sedan with 797-horsepower and 707 lb.-ft. of torque.

The new SRT Hellcat Redeye Widebody hood features a functional air inlet and dual-heat extractors for efficient airflow and removal of heat from the engine.

From the exclusive Widebody fender to the menacing front grille and decklid badges, the Dodge Charger has no bad angle.

Available on the Scat Pack and standard on the SRT Hellcat and SRT Hellcat Redeye, the Dodge Charger Widebody features 20x11-inch wheels with Pirelli tires for improved straight-line and lateral grip.

The Charger SRT Hellcat Redeye Widebody was built for speed, making it the fastest and most powerful mass-produced sedan in the world.

The TorqueFlite eight-speed automatic transmission has a fully electronic shifter that looks and feels like a traditional linkage shifter.

Seamless and convenient, you can start the engine by stepping on the brake pedal and pressing the Start/Stop button, or by using the standard Remote Vehicle Start.

Available Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop automatically adjusts your vehicle's cruising speed to help maintain your set distance using throttle control and limited braking.

This system helps keep brake pads dry in rainy conditions by applying a small amount of pressure to the calipers to dry them for improved stopping power. It engages when the windshield wipers are activated.

What is the styling of the Dodge Charger like?

The Hellcat Redeye's integrated fender flares add yet another 3.5 inches of body width.  The wide Pirelli 305/35ZR20 tires are mounted on new 20-by-11-inch lightweight CarbonBlack wheels.  A more menacing look comes with the new performance hood on both the SRT Hellcat and the SRT Hellcat Redeye.  Wheel options include the Brass Monkey, the forged split-five spoke with standard Low-gloss Carbon Black finish, the "Warp Speed' deep dish with Low-gloss Granite finish, and the Lightweight Carbon Black finish (standard).  These are all 20-inches by 11-inches.  On the entertainment side, 19 GreenEdge speakers and the Harman Kardon audio system with amplifier are available on the R/T, Scat Pack, and Hellcat Widebody models.  The R/T and GT models offer Dodge Performance Pages with the 8.4-inch Uconnect screen and performance bolstered seats.

How good is the performance of the 2021 Dodge Charger?

The Pentastar V-6 models deliver close to 300 horsepower, while the new Redeye provides close to a whopping 800 horsepower. There are eight distinct engine models to choose from, including the 797 horsepower supercharged 6.2-liter HEMI high-output V-8, the 717 horsepower 6.2-liter supercharged HEMI, the 485 horsepower (the most horsepower per dollar of any sedan on Scat Pack models) 392 HEMI V-8, the legendary 370 horsepower 5.7-liter HEMI V-8, and the award-winning 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6 producing up to 300 horsepower.  Every Charger includes the standard innovative TorqueFlite eight-speed automatic transmission. The most powerful of the lineup is the 2021 Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat Redeye, whose 797 horsepower engine comes with the robust heavy-duty TorqueFlite 8HP90 eight-speed automatic transmission with an upgraded torque converter.  It accelerates from 0 to 60 in only 3.6 seconds, can cover ¼ mile in 10.6 seconds at 129 mpg, and has a top speed of 203 mph.  On the other end, it has excellent stopping power, able to come to a complete stop from 70 mph in about 144 feet. It's the only four-door muscle car that  offers all-wheel drive capability with a segment-exclusive active transfer case and front-axle disconnect system, which improves fuel economy.
