With the reveal of the 2020 Jeep Gladiator, shoppers now have a new option to consider when in the market for a mid-size pickup. The design of the Gladiator mimics that of the Jeep Wrangler with its extended wheelbase and a five-foot cargo bed instead of a regular cargo area. The addition of the Wrangler DNA gives the Gladiator an off-road experience that no other vehicle can match. There is plenty of towing power here too, as the Gladiator can haul up to 7,650 pounds. A Rubicon version is also available, just like the Wrangler. The Rubicon allows the Gladiator to have more additional features such as a lockable front and rear differentials, 33-inch all-terrain tires, and a disconnectable stabilizer bar. Though even if you're cruising around town, you can remove the top and doors, making the Gladiator the only convertible style pickup out there. The 2020 Gladiator comes in four trim levels, each with a terrific number of features. Take a trip with us as we conquer each one.
All trims of the Jeep Gladiator come with a five-foot bed as well as a 3.6-liter V6 engine with 285 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque. Four-wheel-drive is standard as is a six-speed manual transmission, though an eight-speed automatic is optional. Features for the Sport include 17-inch steel wheels, all-season tires, crank windows, cruise control, a 5-inch central display, rearview camera, Bluetooth, and voice control capability. The Sport also offers a convertible folding top, removable doors and a fold-down windshield.

Sport S
The Sport S adds more luxury and power to the Sport with alloy wheels, power windows, heated power mirrors, power door, tailgate locks, and an auto-dimming rearview mirror. Available is a Trailer Tow package and an even more capable Max Tow package. Other options for the Sport S include a Technology Group with a 7-inch touchscreen, satellite radio, and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility. Other groups include a Cargo Group, which has a rail-based cargo management system and a 115-volt power outlet in the bed, and an Advanced Safety Group package which gets you a host of advanced safety features.

The Overland dresses the Gladiator up a bit with style features such as 18-inch alloy wheels, body-color wheel arches, side steps, and tinted rear side and rear windows. More standard features include automatic headlights, LED ambient footwell lighting, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and a 7-inch infotainment system with USB ports.

The Rubicon provides you with impeccable off-road ability as well as features. These include a transfer case that offers a lower crawl for climbing and crawling, fenders with increased ground clearance to accommodate the 33-inch all-terrain tires, locking front and rear differentials, Fox shock absorbers, and body-protecting rock rails and skid plates. Also included is an electronically disconnectable front stabilizer bar.

Whether you're on the road or the trail, the 2020 Jeep Gladiator has you covered! The four trim levels allow for a ton of features, while the study V6 engine provides you with plenty of power and stability. Consumers of mid-sized pickups are sure to be impressed with the 7,650-pound towing ability as well as the multitude of off-road features.
